Our staff at Fallston Veterinary Clinic has one goal: to provide excellent care to pets and excellent service to their owners. Our veterinarians combine knowledge from some of the best schools in the country and have combined experience of over 50 years.

Tom Lomax

DVM & Co-Owner

Dr. Lomax is a Harford County resident, having been raised on a family farm in Churchville. He attended C. Milton Wright H.S. Dr. Lomax received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bucknell University, where he also played varsity soccer for the Bison. His veterinary degree is from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, in Baton Rouge. His professional interests include dermatology and internal medicine.

Dr. Lomax is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Maryland Veterinary Medical Association. He volunteered with the Humane Society of Harford County for over 15 years. Following Hurricane Katrina, he was part of a veterinary relief/rescue mission to Gulfport, Mississippi.

Dr. Lomax resides on the farm with his wife, Dr. Prange (also a Fallston veterinarian and LSU veterinary graduate), their Golden Retriever, Lochnagar, and their three cats, Phillip, Pinky, and Button. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, working the farm, traveling, and supporting LSU Tiger Football and Bucknell Bison Soccer.

Ellen H. Cianelli

DVM & Co-Owner

Born in the Midwest, Dr. Cianelli moved to Harford County, Maryland directly after her graduation from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine and has called it her home ever since. She happily landed at Festival Veterinary Clinic in 2001. She takes pride in providing compassionate and progressive veterinary care to all her patients. She assists her clients in understanding and managing all their pet’s needs.

When Dr. Cianelli isn’t at Festival Veterinary Clinic, she can be found diligently working to protect Harford County’s threatened ecosystem. She is an active member of 3P Protect Perryman Peninsula whose mission is to save the county’s water supply from contamination due to overdevelopment.

Her free time is divided between life on the river and her passion for the arts. On weekends you may find her boating around the Chesapeake Bay or wandering around a local art festival.

Laurie S. Prange

DVM

Dr. Laurie S. Prange was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1989 to attend Louisiana State University for her undergraduate studies. After receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 1996, she practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Baton Rouge for 23 years. She moved to Harford County in 2019, and lives on a farm with her husband, a Golden Retriever named Loch, and their three cats- Pinky, Button, and Phillip.

Dr. Prange has a special interest in feline medicine, is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and is USDA APHIS accredited. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, exercising, traveling, and attending LSU football games.

Colleen M. Harvey

DVM

Dr. Harvey grew up in Carroll County and received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Animal and Poultry Science from Virginia Tech. She recieved her veterinary degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery. Aside from veterinary medicine, Dr. Harvey enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on Hokie and Ravens football, baking, and spending time outside with her lab/hound mix Scout.

Lucas Trout

DVM

Dr. Trout was born and raised in Harford County, Maryland. His first job at Ehrhardt Dairy Farms sparked his passion for veterinary medicine. He attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland, played varsity baseball, and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Biochemistry and Biology. He graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. His clinical experience includes mixed animal and small animal general practice as well as small animal emergency medicine. In 2019, he joined Nutramax Laboratories and transitioned to part-time clinical practice. He enjoys spending time with his wife (Caroline), children (Lucas Jr., Hayes, and Charlotte), and their beagle (Bodie).

Lisa Marie Grzybowski

Hospital Admininstrator

Lisa joined Festival Veterinary Clinic in 2007 as our Hospital Administrator. A long-time resident of Harford County, she has extensive clinical and administrative experience in Human and Veterinary Medicine. She is an advocate for comprehensive veterinary preventative health care so that our pets and clients can enjoy the longest possible relationship. Lisa also believes in the importance of exceptional client service, and continually supports the Festival and Fallston Veterinary teams so they provide an outstanding experience at every visit.

Her household pets include three Italian Greyhounds, Sweet Pea, Pico, and Olive, a cat named Patrick, and 7 turtles. She is an active volunteer for Mid- Atlantic Italian Greyhound Rescue, providing foster services and assisting with adoptions processing. She loves the outdoors and when she is not at one of the hospitals, she spends her time camping with her husband David, and visiting with her Granddaughters.

Amanda R.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Amanda joined the Fallston Veterinary Clinic Crew in 2013. She received her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from CCBC in 2014 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2016. Amanda has a special interest in Animal Behavior. She has a special love for English Bulldogs and has volunteered with Bullies to the Rescue, providing foster and hospice care to special needs Bulldogs. In her free time, she spends time with her dogs, Odie and Wally competing in sports, and hiking. Her pets at home include retired athletic dogs Maxine and Jelly, an orange tabby named Butterscotch and a Bearded Dragon.

Megan

Registered Veterinary Technician

Megan joined the Festival team in 2012. She graduated in 2011 with an Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from the Community College of Baltimore. Before joining Festival she had 5 years of emergency veterinary experience. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and 2 daughters, read, and craft on her Cricut.

Phyllis

Technician

Phyllis has been a constant at Fallston Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years and has been working in the veterinary profession for over 30 years. Her love for animals allows her to continue working in a profession that she loves. Phyllis is married with one daughter, two grandchildren, and four cats. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, kayaking, watching wildlife, gardening, and simply being outdoors.

Fran

Technician

Fran has been working in Veterinary Medicine since 2001 when she was inspired by her love of animals to become a Kennel Assistant. She worked hard and eventually became a Veterinary Technician. She enjoys her work with clients, educating them on pet care and specializes in comforting clients and pets who are worried and nervous. She has fostered many cats and kittens over the years and has volunteered as a dog-walker at SPCA Fall’s Road and BARC’s in Baltimore City. She is the proud adopter of 2 small dogs and four cats. In her free time, she loves camping, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Tricia

Technician

Trish is an accomplished veterinary technician whose career spans 4 decades (18 years at FVC.) She’s been an animal lover all her life, having pets that include dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, reptiles, and so on. She's the mom to a teenage daughter and two rottweilers, Daisy & Dixie. Trish is a Harford County resident of 25 years. She loves the Ravens, family time and photography.

Taylor

Technician

Taylor joined the Fallston family in May of 2021. When she is not caring for our Fallston patients, she can be found hiking with her lab Fidler and spending time with friends and family. Taylor is also a volunteer puppy raiser through Susquehanna Service Dogs.

Emma

Technician

Emma joined the Fallston team as a technician in June 2021. While Emma has a heart for all animals, she has an affinity for working with cats and farm animals. Originally from Kutztown, Pa, Emma and her Siamese, Estelle, now enjoy country living in Harford County. When Emma is not working with us at Fallston, she enjoys hiking, traveling, horticulture, and cooking.

Brandon

Technician

Brandon is a 2015 graduate of the CCBC Veterinary Technician Program and joined the Fallston Veterinary Clinic Crew in 2017. He has always been an animal lover and easy-going person who enjoys the interactions with our clients and patients. Brandon enjoys the outdoors, loves to travel, and is especially fond of Costa Rica where the friends he met have become like family.

Brianna

Technician

Brianna joined the FVC team in September of 2021. She is currently working to get her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology at CCBC then transition to Towson for a Bachelor’s in Applied Health. Brianna grew up in Baltimore, Maryland in a household with all kinds of animals from cats and dogs to bearded dragons, fish, and chickens. This influenced her passion for animal care, driving her to get into the veterinary field and an education focused on furthering her career path. She has volunteered at the Humane Society and worked at a boarding and rescue before joining the FVC team. She currently has a full house of animals that consists of 4 rescue dogs named Buddy, Piper, Holly, and Abby, 2 rescue cats named Lucy and Rip, and 12 chickens along with a rooster. In her free time, she likes to watch crime and medieval shows, play video games, walk on trails, and listen to music.

Keeley

Technician

Born and raised in Harford County, Keeley's first career plan was to become a human nurse. While she was attending Harford Community College to pursue her nursing degree, she ended up finding her passion for Veterinary Medicine at the Pet ER in 2020. Although she loves all animals, she has a special love of German Shepherds as she has grown up with them her whole life. In her free time, you can find Keeley going on adventures with her 2 German Shepherds, Titan and Celtic, kayaking, riding 4-wheelers, and soaking up the sun at the beach.

Karen

Client Service Representative

A resident of Harford County most of her life, Karen has always had a passion for helping others. Her caring and genuine concern for our clients and their pets has been evident since she joined our staff in 2002. Away from the clinic Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is involved with her church handbell choir. Her family pets include her orange tabby " Felix" and her grand dogs, Norwegian Elkhounds "Fenris" and "Morgana".

Kimberly

Client Service Representative

Born and raised in Bel Air, Kimberly has forty years of Veterinary Medicine experience. Otherwise known as Kimmie to her peers, she has a strong passion for animal health and wellness. Having several pets of her own, she believes animals add love and compassion to the family dynamic and is dedicated to each animals healthcare needs.

Cece

Client Service Representative

Born and raised in Harford County, Cece has always had a passion for animals and helping others. She has been in the field for 11 years, with a combined background of general practice and emergency. When she's not working, Cece loves hanging out with her husband and two dogs, all things college football, and being outdoors.
